Dedicated to the memory of our friends that are gone, but never forgotten.
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of Heaven is a place called
The Rainbow Bridge. When an animal
dies that has been especially close to
someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow
Bridge. There are meadows and hills for
all our special friends so they can run
and play together. There is plenty of
food, water and sunshine, and our
friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill or old are
restored to health and vigor; those who
were hurt or maimed are made whole and
strong again, just as we remember them
in our dreams of days gone by. The
animals are happy and content, except
for one small thing; they each miss
someone very special to them who had to
be left behind. They all run and play
together, but the day comes when one
suddenly stops and looks into the
distance. His bright eyes are intent; his
eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins
to run from the group, flying over the
green grass, his legs carrying him faster
and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you
and your special friend finally meet, you
cling to each other in joyous reunion,
never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands
again caress the beloved head and you
look once more into the trusting eyes of
your pet, so long gone from your life but
never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge
together........

Bennie came to me over a year ago, In really bad
health, he was a diabetic, and was not given his insulin
shots. By the time he got to me, he was going blind, his
blood sugar was really high. After much nursing and the
right food, he got back some of his health, but a lot of
damage had already been done.
He went completely blind about a month after he got
here. He became very lovable and was always at my
feet, he went by sound and by feel, but he always
managed to find his new mommy, of course I would talk
to him so he would know what direction to go in.
He brought many smiles to me, when I would walk him,
he would get excited, then all of a sudden he would
stop, and he would listen to nature, the birds always
caught his attention, and would move his head to the
direction of the chirping.
He was grateful for being taken care of, and I was
grateful for the chance to make his life a little better, for
what time I had him I only had his love for one year, it
wasn't long enough for me, I miss him dearly.

Miss Lacie Regale
Miss Lacie, brought many smiles to
my face and a smile to my heart. She
did it all, from fishing in a boat with
her first Daddy, to being pushed in a
stroller at fairs and loving every
minute of it.  All my babies that have
went to the Rainbow Bridge are
sadly missed
